Everything starts from the inborn passion of Andrea Franchini for tailoring.
At 14 he starts to handle the needle and the more time passes, the more she wants to get to know this noble art, which she deepens by attending artisan shops.
Today, passion and knowledge, are the basis of the birth of Sartoria FRANDRÉ: a special place where the expert hands of the young tailor give life to unique garments.
Tailoring
FRANDRÉ was born in the throbbing heart of Martina Franca, in an ancient palace along Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
In the first part of the atelier, Andrea Franchini welcomes his clients among fine furnishings and textile antiques, witnesses of an ancient tradition.
Here the customer, pampered by a coffee and a good chocolate, can compare and choose the best from a wide selection of the best Italian and English fabrics of the most important weaving houses and a selection of beautiful handcrafted accessories.
But the magic happens a little further: continuing we arrive at the tailor’s workshop, the true fulcrum.
Here, on the old cutting table, the fabric from which the ideal dress will be born is laid out, entirely handmade and totally personalized: only for special and unique customers.
To complete the work are the numerous craft accessories: silk ties, papillon, shirts, shoes, everything that makes a man a true Gentleman.
TRADITIO IN NOVITATE is the maxim that stands on the main arch of the atelier.
